SmartSocks®DISCOVERY marks the first product in the SmartSocks® line specifically tailored to meet the needs of the academic and clinical research community.

Developed over a decade of research and innovation, SmartSocks® leverage the familiarity and comfort of everyday socks to unobtrusively collect high-quality physical and physiological data. Each pair is machine washable and embedded with sensors that capture:

  • Electrodermal activity
  • Heart rate and heart rate variability
  • Skin temperature
  • Motion and movement patterns

This data is transmitted in real-time and visualised via a secure, user-friendly web dashboard, enabling detailed analysis without disrupting the participant’s comfort or dignity.

SmartSocks®DISCOVERY was developed with the support of Alzheimer’s Society through their prestigious Accelerator Programme. Milbotix also collaborates with the UK Dementia Research Institute Centre for Care Research and Technology at Imperial College London, ensuring our technology is grounded in the latest scientific expertise.
